Carbon Precision

Charcoal and Graphite Drawings by Victor Jury

About me

I started drawing in 2020 as a lockdown hobby. I was bored one day and decided to go to the store to buy a sketch pad and some pencils.

I started out drawing landscapes of some of my favorite places on a small 5×7″ sketchpad.

Then I did my first large drawing on a 18×24″ poster board of a picture I took in Queenstown, New Zealand.

At that point my love for drawing took off. I transitioned to mostly charcoal pencils due to their darker tones and lack of shine that graphite pencils produce. I gained inspiration from other artists like Jono Dry and Andrew Tischler, and have been drawing ever since.
